[Info Post: Save the Earth]
Aug. 15th, 2013 09:33 pmName: Reilanin Bainbridge
Age: 26
Physical Appearance: A shorter-than-average woman, Reilanin stands tall regardless at 5'4" with her heels on. Despite her smaller stature she carries an air of authority, and her strictly business attire only adds to it. She is a fair-skinned caucasian with green eyes and dirty-blonde hair, always pulled away from her face, and her body-language is pretty clear on the Do Not Touch front. She sometimes wears glasses.
Occupation: Librarian at the main branch of the Locke City library.
Full application can be found here~
ECHOES
1st: An impromptu nap in the stacks gives her back the memory of stealing naps in the Golden Hour's library.
2nd: Getting pranked by coworkers with the spiked water gives her back her heightened sense of smell.
3rd: The meeting at Emmanuel's and bumping into Alexander there brings back the memory of speaking with Alexander at another meeting in their past lives.
4th: A conversation with Randolph Lyall about his lycanthropy reminds her of speaking with Giacomo Fibra, another werewolf, back in Tyrol, about his differing form of lycanthropy and how it might be utilized to change her own via Belief. (Belief itself is not understood as a concept or fact- she merely recognizes that there is something important about the notion)
5th: Talking to Alexander about her conversation with Lyall sparks another memory, one more in-depth, about their natures as a werewolf and a vampire, in the face of the society about them.
6th: A delayed echo. Seeing Alexander's ledger and reading part of the single post contained therein, she walks away from it before she can read anymore in the hopes of not getting the echo. She gets it anyway later that night, her own ledger, with the same communications written within, plus her own filtered conversation that Alex's didn't have.
7th: On the night of the 21st of September, pink lights appear in the sky. With it returns her enhanced hearing. No dog whistles, please.
8th: Curious enough to look but not enough to prod, Reilanin visits the Tuning Towers on her own. There she receives another echo, though it isn't immediately obvious what is returned- a twofold echo, she regains her healing abilities. Though not instantaneous, the process of healing is consideraly sped up- poisons and medicines alike cycle through faster, bones heal in a fraction of the time, a shallow cut will heal in a matter of minutes, and being sick is a matter of the past. Because of this, her metabolism runs faster, too, so she is more often hungry, and is warm to the touch- too warm, maybe.
However, also regained are all of her old weaknesses. Mountain ash, wolfsbane, silver and mistletoe cause significant damage and if any injury made heals, it does not heal well.
9th: Speaking with Solus about some means of controlling her potential transformations, Reilanin remembers more about her discussion with Duncan about being sedated on full moons.
10th: A conversation with Randolph Lyall about the transformation process finally triggers the pulse for her own transformation, though it is not something she can be completely certain of until the next full moon arrives.
11th: Her first transformation triggers her bloodthirst, 'cause where's the fun in being a werewolf if you don't wanna tear people limb from limb and lap up all of their blood?
12th: Anthony speaking Latin brings back the vague memory and rusty understanding of the church Latin she knew back in the day.
13th: Slashing her arm to give Alexander blood brings back the memory of having done the same for Silas, an injured hellhound, fairly confident that the infection of lycanthropy couldn't spread to him.
14th: The earthquake and subsequent semi-collapse of the library harkens back the remembrance of the god Cita wreaking havoc on the Golden Hour. Coming out unscathed also echoes back her enhanced speed/reflexes.
15th: Merry Christmas! She echoes back the prayer book she owned when she was her aunt's protégé, before being turned. (It looks like this though decidedly less gilded and colourful because wow not many people had that kind of money in the Renaissance.)
16th: A conversation with Yuji about leaving Locke getting them further away from all the bullshit going on (and losing your memories/echoes) parallels similar thoughts she had about Tyrol- the further you went, the less of a hold Belief had on you, to draw you in or change you.
17th: Alexander gives her just enough information for her to echo back the memory of his death and her part in it. (The glimpse of the wedding band he echoed back doesn't help, either.)
18th: Being pinned down by Hajime while she's in wolf form echoes back her memory of being pinned down by a dragon under somewhat similar circumstances at the Golden Hour. (There is no connection to this being the night of the massacre.)
19th: Going underground into the abandoned subway and touching the exposed part of Wise Snake gives her the memory of the Full Moon Massacre at the Golden Hour. Transformed, she and another werewolf laid waste to the institution while trying to kill one another. She was restrained (which she already remembered, thanks to Hajime) and sedated.
20th: Touching Wise Snake also made it so that her bite becomes infectuous. (She is unaware of this.)
21st: Her physical features change. Her canines have sharpened, her nails become claw-like, and her ears have become pointed, with fluffy tufts of blonde hair at the ends. Echoed back during the destruction by Wise Snake in the business district.
